Presidents Day 2016: What's Open, What's Closed in Dearborn?
The property tax deadline is affected by the holiday, but trash collection isn't. Also, are schools in session? What about your bank?

DEARBORN, MI – The Dearborn Administrative Center, 19th District Courts and city libraries will be closed in honor of Presidents Day on Monday, Feb. 15.
Curbside trash and recycling collection in the city will be on its regular schedule the week of Feb. 15-19.

Winter property taxes are due on Sunday, Feb. 14. The Dearborn Administrative Center is not open on Feb. 14 or Feb. 15. Payments brought to the DAC or placed in the drop boxes at the DAC can be made until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16 without incurring a late fee.
However, if you are paying your property taxes electronically or via phone, the deadline is still midnight on Sunday, Feb. 14.

On Monday, Feb. 15, the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave., is open for its regular hours of 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC), 14900 Ford Road, will be open during its regular hours of 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Presidents Day is a federal holiday, so that means there won’t be any mail delivery.
Most government offices are closed.
Presidents Day is a national bank holiday, your bank — especially large banks like wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America and Citibank —may be open. Call ahead before you head out.
Mid-winter break begins for Dearborn Public Schools on Friday, Feb. 12, and school will remain closed through Presidents Day.
