"I spent three decades watching the Detroit Lions lose and accepted that it changed me in a profound way. I wrote a book about the team and my father, juxtaposing how the experience of loving a team was similar to a special needs father. Disappointment is built into the foundation. How do we keep showing up?" Come and hear Joel tell how he did it.
Joel will be making several appearances in Michigan in July in addition to more here and in other cities around the country, following the release party of his book on July 14th,through September.
