Rep. Dingell to Host Discussion on Alzheimer’s Disease
The discussion will focus on policy and community solutions needed to confront Alzheimer's disease.

Dearborn, MI – In recognition of Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (MI-12) will bring together patients, caregivers, and advocates in the fight to end Alzheimer’s for a roundtable discussion tomorrow, Tuesday, June 28 at 10 a.m.
The discussion will focus on policy and community solutions that are needed to better support patients and caregivers and confront the growing challenge of Alzheimer’s disease, which now impacts one in nine older Americans and one-third of Americans over the age of 85, according to a news release.
The roundtable will build on the long-term care conversations Dingell hosted throughout the district last summer, and the ideas and concerns expressed will be used to help shape policy solutions to end Alzheimer’s and support those affected.
