Road Rage Leads To I-94 Shooting In Allen Park: Police
Officials said no one was injured in the shooting sparked by a road rage incident that started on westbound 94 at Oakwood Boulevard.

ALLEN PARK, MI — A driver was shot at on westbound Interstate 94 near Outer Driver Thursday afternoon in a road rage incident, Michigan State Police said.
State troopers said a preliminary investigation showed the incident started at 4:50 p.m. on the freeway near Oakwood Boulevard, where road construction has closed several lanes on the freeway.
Troopers said the driver then threw a nearly empty water bottle at a truck, who started following the driver.

After throwing the water bottle, the driver unsuccessfully tried to get away from the truck multiple times before the driver heard a loud "boom" while exiting the freeway at Pelham, troopers said.
The driver continued driving toward a safe location and called police, who found fragments of a bullet they believe struck the driver's vehicle, troopers said. Police said the driver described the other vehicle as a dark maroon-colored Honda Ridgeline pickup truck.
