Thieves Steal 3 Ford Raptor Trucks From Dearborn Lot, 3 Arrested: Cops
State troopers said the thieves took at least $240,000 worth of trucks from a lot on Ford Road and the Southfield Freeway at 9 p.m.
DEARBORN, MI — Three people were arrested Wednesday night after they stole three brand new Ford Raptor pickup trucks from a Dearborn lot, Michigan State Police said.
State troopers said the thieves took at least $240,000 worth of trucks from a lot on Ford Road and the Southfield Freeway at 9 p.m.
The thieves were all wearing ski masks and took off in the trucks driving north on the Southfield Freeway, police said.

With the help of a police helicopter, troopers found one of the stolen trucks on the Southfield Freeway near Lyndon Street in Detroit, police said.
Troopers then tracked down the stolen truck to Stathmoor Street near West Chicago Street in Detroit, where they recovered it after the thief got out of the truck and ran away, police said.

Troopers followed the thief to a house in Asbury Park, where they found the other two stolen trucks and a Ford Mustang GT 500 that was stolen earlier this year from a Flat Rock assembly plant, police said.
Three people were arrested at the house as troopers searched the residence and found numerous sets of keys and firearms, police said.
