If you want the traditional treat eaten on Fat Tuesday, ride share service Uber will deliver a dozen packzi for a fee.
DETROIT, MI – If you’re yearning for a traditional treat on Paczki Day — Fat Tuesday, the beginning of Mardi Gras that is celebrated by eating the traditional fried rounds with unfettered abandon — but can’t get to the bakery, don’t fret. For a $25 fee, a local Uber driver will fetch it for you.
Just download or open the Uber app on your smart phone Tuesday and request the “PACZKI” option, The Detroit News reports. A local driver with the ride share service will deliver a dozen paczki to you from West Warren Bakery in Detroit.
