What's Open, What's Closed for 4th of July in Dearborn?
Trash pickup won't be affected by the Fourth of July holiday observance, but some facilities will close Friday, July 3, for the holiday.
Independence Day will not affect trash pickup in Dearborn because July 4 falls on a Saturday, but city buildings will be closed for the holiday on Friday, July 3.
Those buildings include Dearborn Administrative Center, 19th District Court, libraries, and the Senior Center.
The Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC) and Ford Community and Performing Arts Center will be open on Friday, July 3 and will be closed on Saturday, July 4.

All city buildings will reopen with regular hours on Monday, July 6.

There will be no mail on Saturday, July 4, but the U.S. Postal Service will operate as usual on Friday, July 3.
July 3 is the holiday for state and federal offices. Most banks will be open on Friday, July 3, but will close on Saturday, July 4.
The New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ Stock Market will be closed on Friday, July 3.
