Who's Tuning Up Next for Dearborn Summer Concerts?
The free Jazz on the Ave summer concert continues this week. Food truck rallies are planned on July 24 and Aug. 28.

Free outdoor concerts are continuing in Dearborn’s business districts this summer, with the next one Wednesday, July 15.

Both the west Dearborn Downtown Development Authority and the East Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities sponsor family-friendly concert series. So bring a lawn chair or blanket and be prepared to have a good time.
The East Downtown Dearborn will continue its Jazz on the Ave signature concerts series on Wednesday, July 15.

These concerts are at City Hall Park, 13615 Michigan Ave. at the corner of Schaefer. (Note the location remains the same as usual, despite city services moving out of the building.)
The following is the remaining 2015 schedule. Concerts are 7 to 9 pm.
- July 15: Marc Antoine with special guest Brian Simpson
- July 22: Jessy J
- July 29: 496 West and Dee Brown
- August 5: Charles and Gwen Scales
- August 12: Alexander Zonjic with the Motor City Horns and special guest Elan Trotman
The EDDDA will be showcasing neighborhood restaurants who will be selling their food at booths in the Park at each concert. And nearby restaurants will be open, so concert-goers can grab carry-out food and make a picnic dinner before the show. Check out the restaurants in East Downtown at EastDowntownDearborn.com.
The following is the remaining schedule for the West Dearborn Downtown Development Authority Friday Nights in the Park concert series, presented at Bryant Library Muirhead Plaza, 22100 Michigan Ave. These concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and run till 9 p.m.:
- July 24: Big Will & the 360 Degree Band
- August 14: Billy Mack & the Juke Joint Johnnies
- August 28: The Beat Club (Beatles Tribute)
Food truck rallies will take place in the parking lot across the alley from the Friday Nights in the Park concerts on July 24 and August 28 from 5 to 9 p.m.
Rain alternative location for Friday Nights in the Park is the Henry Ford Centennial Library, 16301 Michigan Ave.
