A bullet struck the employee in the leg with what restaurant owner Jouli Keti described to the newspaper as a pellet gun. The employee was treated at the scene by the Dearborn Fire Department, and went home for the day, according to a statement from the police department.
Keti said the two men demanded that the worker take them to the safe. There isn’t one in the restaurant, so an employee led the two men to the front of the store to the cash register, following the policies Keti had developed to keep overnight workers safe.
