SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — A quick-hitting snowstorm moved into southeastern Michigan Tuesday morning, covering roads with snow and creating hazardous driving conditions, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow will continue falling in the region throughout Tuesday morning, dumping between 1 and 2 inches of fresh snow in most areas, according to the National Weather Service.

Some areas between the Interstate 69 and Interstate 94 can see up to 3 inches of fresh snow by Tuesday afternoon as temperatures make it to the mid 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters warned the snow will quickly accumulate in the region and led to slippery roads with reduce visibilities throughout the morning hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will fall to around freezing Tuesday night before rebounding back into the mid 40s Wednesday and Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
