1-3 Inches Of Snow Expected For Metro Detroit This Weekend

AccuWeather is predicting the snow will start falling Saturday afternoon and finish by Sunday morning.

METRO DETROIT — Snow and slippery travel conditions are in the forecast for Metro Detroit this weekend, especially Saturday night.

After a cold Friday with couple rounds of light scattered snow flurries, AccuWeather predicts heavier snow will start falling Saturday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. The forecast expects the snow to finish up by Sunday morning, leaving one to three inches of fresh snow behind it in the Metro area.

Temperatures will remain in the mid to low 30s on Saturday and Sunday, before dipping into the high 20s Sunday night, the forecast predicted.

Some light snow showers are also expected Monday afternoon with temperatures reaching the upper 30s, according to the forecast.
