DETROIT, MI — Treacherous storms pummeled the midwest Wednesday morning, coming just one day after two tornadoes struck Michigan, destroying homes and commercial buildings.
The tornadoes were first reported late Tuesday night in parts of Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, according to the National Weather Service. Portions of Illinois, Kentucky, and Missouri were also under a tornado watch.
Radar from the tornadoes indicates that affected areas include Hancock County in West Virginia and Jefferson County in Ohio.
