168K Still Without Power In Detroit, Southeast Michigan
DTE Energy crews are working to have most power restored by the end of the weekend, according to the company's website.
ACROSS MICHIGAN — More than 168,000 people in the Detroit metro and southeastern Michigan are still without power Saturday after storms blew through the region earlier this week.
As of 12:30 p.m. ET, 168,652 DTE Energy customers were without power, according to the company's website. More than 2,900 crews are in the field working to restore power.
In a statement posted to its website, DTE Energy said crews are working to restore 80 percent of customers' power by the end of Saturday and 95 percent by the end of Sunday.

The outages follow storms that left nearly a million households without power Thursday, according to ClickOnDetroit.com. In all, approximately 864,000 households lost power.
