2 Bodies, Human Remains Found Inside Detroit Home: Police

Police did not reveal a cause of death, but said there is no danger to the public.

DETROIT — Police are investigating after three people were found dead inside a Detroit home last week.

Officers first found a man and woman dead inside the home located the 15500 block of Stoepel Street at 9:30p.m. last Thursday, according to police.

Investigators then learned about another individual who was associated with the home but had not been seen in some time, according to police.

Officers returned to the home on Friday and found the remains of an another person in the basement, according to police.

Police did not reveal a cause of death, but said there is no danger to the public.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify the three individuals as police continue investigating.
