2 Women Dead, Man Injured In Detroit Triple Shooting: Police

Police said the shooting happened at roughly 2 p.m. in the 3800 block of 33rd street near Michigan Avenue​ in southwest Detroit.

DETROIT — Two women were killed and a man was critically injured in a Detroit triple shooting Sunday, according to police.

Police said the shooting happened at roughly 2 p.m. in the 3800 block of 33rd street near Michigan Avenue in southwest Detroit.

Investigators believe the three victims were talking with some people who were inside a newer-model gray Dodge Durango and an older-model black Dodge Durango, according to police.

A man then got out of the gray Durango and walked up to a home and fired the shots, according to police.

Two women were killed in the shooting and a man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in critical condition, according to police.

Police described the shooter as a man standing 5 feet, 8 inches, wearing a white T-shirt.

No names were released.

Police were still investigating the shooting.
