23K Without Power In Metro Detroit: DTE

The utility expects to restore power to nearly all by Monday evening.

METRO DETROIT — DTE Energy said in a storm update it anticipates restoring power to nearly every customer who lost it during Saturday's high winds by Monday evening.

As of Monday morning, there's still over 23,000 DTE customers are still without power. The outages are scattered throughout the metro area, with the largest swaths in Redford and Dearborn.

At one point, there were over 150,000 DTE customers without power throughout the region due to the weekend's storms.

The utility said it has more than 2,000 field team members continue to focus on restoring our customers as safely and quickly as possible.
