$49 Southwest Airlines Flights From Detroit On Sale Now
Act quickly; Southwest Airline's twice-a-year 72-hour sale offering round-trip fares below $100 only continues through Thursday.

DETROIT, MI — Southwest Airlines launched its twice-a-year travel deal, where flights can be picked up on the cheap — less than $100 for some of the airline’s shortest routes, on Tuesday. The 72-hour sale offers primarily non-stop, one-way flights as low as $49, and the one-way prices increase to $79, $99 or $129 for longer flights.
There are some exclusions, of course. Fridays and Sundays, two of the biggest travel days of the week, are excluded, and certain dates around Labor Day and Thanksgiving are blocked out. There are also restrictions on Southwest’s Florida and Nevada flights.
