METRO DETROIT, MI — The National Weather Service has issued a thunderstorm watch for Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Livingston, Lenawee and Monroe counties, cautioning possible thunderstorms late Monday night and into Tuesday as low pressure and a slow-moving frontal boundary move across the region.
The chance of rain is 100 percent Monday night and Tuesday, with possible showers showing up throughout the week. The good news is, the weather is finally breaking, it seems, with highs for the week in the mid-50s.
