METRO DETROIT — More than 154,000 DTE customers in metro Detroit lost power Wednesday afternoon after thunderstorms rolled through the area, according to the utility.
The hardest hit areas were in Washtenaw County, where more than 10,000 DTE customers in Ann Arbor lost power, according to the utility.
There were also large outage areas in Wayne County, especially in the downriver communities, according to the utility.

Some parts of Oakland County were hit hard, particularly in the Novi and Northville areas, according to the utility.
DTE did not provide any power restoration times.
