8-Year-Old Pens Death Threat To Teacher, Classmate
An 8-year-old responded to having his cellphone taken by writing a death threat. He may face charges now.

PONTIAC, MI — An 8-year-old Oakland County student may be facing legal trouble after reportedly penning a letter that threatened to kill his teacher and a classmate Tuesday afternoon. Authorities were called in after the young man, a student at International Technology Academy in Pontiac, wrote a letter that contained death threats toward the two others.
According to the police report, the student was later interviewed at the police station with his mother present and told officers he was mad at his classmate for telling on him for having his cellphone and mad at his teacher for confiscating his device.
The on-duty referee at Oakland County Children’s Village declined to take the boy into custody due to his age. The matter is being investigated though and possible criminal charges may follow.
