Accumulating Snow This Week As Temps Remain Below Average: Metro Detroit Weather

Accumulating snow is likely this week across the Detroit area as temperatures remain below average, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny with highs topping out in the 20s before a chance for snow Thursday night, the weather service said.

Forecasters expect at least an inch of snow across the region.

Overnight lows will fall back to near zero degrees with very cold wind chills this weekend, the weather service said.
