More severe storms are possible across metro Detroit Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Showers and storms will move across the area throughout Thursday with chances for severe storms in the afternoon hours, the weather service said.
Forecasters warned the storms could produce heavy downpours, large hail and winds up to 60 miles per hour. They also warned some areas could see flooding due to the heavy rainfall.
Highs will again reach 70 degrees on Friday before more storms move into the region during the nighttime hours, the weather service said.
A cold front then moves into the area late Saturday, pushing lows to below 40 degrees, the weather service said.
Highs will struggle to reach 50 degrees on Sunday, the weather service said.
