A round of heavy rain and thunderstorms will hit the Detroit area Monday night, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs Monday will reach the 70s before the storms move into the area during the nighttime hours, the weather service said.
Forecasters do not expect any severe weather.
The storms will continue overnight and into Tuesday morning, the weather service said.
The rain should clear out by the afternoon hours Tuesday with highs falling into the 60s, the weather service said.
Another round of rain is possible Wednesday morning with highs dropping into the 50s, the weather service said.
Temperatures will stay in the 50s through the rest of the workweek, the weather service said.
