DETROIT — A local crispy chicken and pizza chain is opening its first Detroit location next week.
Saroki's Crispy Chicken and Pizza will open a new spot inside Griswold Market and Spirits at 735 Griswold in downtown Detroit next Monday.
The local favorite is known for its fried chicken and New York-style pizzas. It will be available for carryout and delivery.
"This is a major step forward for our brand, and we’re proud to bring Saroki’s to the heart of the city for both new and loyal customers," Saroki's Founder Todd Saroki said in a press release. "Detroit is one of the most dynamic food cities in the country, and being part of the growth and energy in downtown is incredibly meaningful to us."
This new Detroit location will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
Saroki's was founded by brothers Todd and Curtis Saroki in 2012. They have more than 20 locations across Michigan with most in the metro Detroit area.
