Thunderstorms will be possible across the Detroit area to start the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
But first, highs will hit the low 60s with plenty of sunshine Friday, the weather service said.
Temperatures will be even warmer Saturday when the storms move into the area during the afternoon hours, the weather service said.
Forecasters do not expect any severe weather Saturday.
Highs will stay in the 60s on Sunday before dropping back into the 50s to start next week, the weather service said.
The next chance for rain will be Tuesday afternoon, the weather service said.
