DETROIT — A man was arrested Wednesday after making threats against Wayne State University in Detroit, according to reports.
Police sent out an alert Tuesday stating they were actively investigating and searching for the suspect responsible for the threats.
A statement sent early Wednesday stated the suspect was arrested in a different jurisdiction outside Detroit. Police said the security situation was "resolved."
Police did not release any additional details about the threats.
Campus officials said they are increasing security out of an abundance of caution.
