Temps To Hit 90s Before Weekend Rain, Thunderstorms: Metro Detroit Weather

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather over the weekend.

Temperatures across the Detroit area will climb back into the 90s Friday before a more active weather pattern moves into the region over the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs Friday will reach the low 90s with noticeable humidity and plenty of sunshine, according to NWS.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms will move into the region on Saturday and persist throughout much of the day, according to NWS.

The showers and thunderstorms will bleed over into Sunday as highs struggle to reach 80 degrees across the region, according to NWS.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather over the weekend.

Next week will start dry and sunny with highs in the 80s. Temperatures will gradually climb toward 90 degrees through the week, according to NWS.

Saturday: Rain; High 82, Low 66

Sunday: Rain; High 79, Low 60

Monday: Sunny; High 81, Low 62
