Thunderstorms move back into the Detroit area Wednesday as heat and humidity spike across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Highs Wednesday will climb into the upper 80s with the real feel in the 90s before the storms hit, according to NWS.
Forecasters expect the first wave of storms to move into the area late Wednesday. They do not expect any severe weather.
More storms will be possible across the Detroit area during the afternoon hours Thursday and Friday, according to NWS.
There will also be chances for storms over the weekend, according to NWS.
