Storms, Heavy Rain This Weekend: Metro Detroit Weather

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather.

Scattered storms and heavy rain is likely across the Detroit area this weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect the isolated storms to move into the area sometime after 2 p.m. Saturday when highs reach the upper 80s.

Sunday should be mostly dry with highs in the 80s before more isolated storms and showers move into the area during the nighttime hours, according to NWS.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather either day, but warned any storm that pops up could bring gusty winds and brief heavy downpours.

There will be chances for showers through the first half of next week with highs in the 80s, according to NWS.

Saturday: Isolated Storms; High 85, Low 69

Sunday: Isolated Storms (Late); High 87, Low 64

Monday: Rain; High 86, Low 68

Tuesday: Rain; High 83, Low 65

Wednesday: Rain; High 81, Low 64
