Police and the mayor strongly deny any connection, saying the search stemmed from an unrelated threat complaint, while questions about timing, civil liberties, and city leadership continue to swirl.
   

2. 'Turned upside down': Lawyer describes impact of FBI raids on Behavioral Health CEO (clickondetroit.com) — Federal raids on Quality Behavioral Health locations in Detroit and metro suburbs have frozen accounts for the nonprofit's CEO, raising concerns about payroll and continuity of addiction treatment services. Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network says it's working to protect patient care, while the FBI remains tight-lipped and no charges have been announced.
   

3. 21-year-old Detroit woman charged in accidental shooting of 13-year-old sister (clickondetroit.com) — Detroit readers should know a 21-year-old woman is charged after her 13-year-old sister was accidentally shot inside a Detroit home, allegedly with an unsecured handgun. The teen survived and was treated at a local hospital, while court dates are already set in 36th District Court next month.

DEFY Wrestling Returns To Original Ownership Via Agreement With Big Damo & Nikki Storm (411mania.com) — Pro wrestling fans in Detroit can look forward to DEFY Wrestling's return under its original owners, with a live show set for October 1 at The Lincoln Factory. The promotion is relaunching after ownership changes and regulatory hurdles, with tickets for the Detroit and Seattle dates going on sale soon.

(audacy.com) — Detroit country fans can text in to 99.5 WYCD next week for a chance to win tickets to Gavin Adcock's November 13, 2026 show at the Masonic Temple Theatre downtown.
