1. 6 Injured In Equipment Accident After Ed Sheeran Concert In Detroit: Report (patch.com) — Detroit concert workers are recovering after six people were hurt when stage teardown equipment accidentally struck them at Ford Field following Ed Sheeran's LOOP Tour stop. Two workers were hospitalized in serious condition and four in stable condition, though none of the injuries are believed life-threatening. Detroit residents rush to store for free grocery giveaway: "I was very thankful" (cbsnews.com) — A free grocery giveaway at Mike's Fresh Market on Detroit's east side drew such huge crowds Monday that police had to control traffic and stop more shoppers from entering. Residents described chaotic but generous scenes, with some families filling multiple vehicles with food provided through a partnership involving Fifth Third Bank.
