Storms possible Wednesday Before Comfortable Temps To End Week: Metro Detroit Weather

Showers and thunderstorms will sweep across the metro Detroit area throughout Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather, but warned any storm that pops up could produce heavy rainfall and winds reaching up to 55 miles per hour.

Wednesday's high will reach the low 80s before cooler and more stable air moves into the region, according to NWS.

Thursday and Friday will be much quieter with plenty of sunshine and highs in the 70s, according to NWS.

The weekend will also remain dry with slightly warmer temperatures, according to NWS.
