5. 2029 AERA Annual Meeting to Be Held in Detroit (aera.net) — Detroit will host the 2029 AERA Annual Meeting April 18–22, centered at Huntington Place with headquarters hotels at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center and JW Marriott at Water Square. The gathering will bring thousands of education researchers to a revitalized downtown, highlighting the People Mover-connected convention district and boosting local hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions.
