Police say they've repeatedly responded to the Prest Street address this year and are pursuing leads to identify the shooters, while stressing there's no broader ongoing threat to nearby residents.
3. Win Detroit Red Wings vs. New York Rangers Tickets! (audacy.com) — Detroit-area fans can enter this week to win a pair of tickets to see the Red Wings play at Little Caesars Arena on Friday, Oct. 2. Listeners must tune into 97.1 The Ticket Friday morning, then quickly call when a special sound plays and be ready to use a mobile ticketing app to receive their prize.
4. Fast-improving AI, robotics could make 'dark' auto factories a reality (detroitnews.com) — Rapid advances in AI and robotics are pushing automakers toward highly automated, even "dark," factories, and Detroit's legacy carmakers and suppliers are under pressure to keep up. Local UAW leaders and companies from GM's Factory ZERO to Bosch and Forvia's Michigan operations are wrestling with how to adopt new technology without sacrificing too many jobs, training workers for higher-tech roles instead.
