Weekend I-696 closure has drivers frustrated as construction relief nears the horizon (fox2detroit.com) — If you're driving through Metro Detroit this weekend, expect major delays as westbound I-696 from I-75 to the Lodge is fully closed for a traffic shift back onto newly rebuilt lanes.
