  1. Anita Baker books homecoming concert, first Detroit show in 27 years. The 8-time Grammy Award winner will perform at the Little Caesars Arena on Friday, July 22. It will be Baker's first Detroit show in more than 27 years, since she played at the Fox Theatre on July 21, 1995. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 3 at 10 a.m. (Detroit Patch)
  2. The Council on American-Islamic Relations offered a $1,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of a shooter who fired shots into a Detroit mosque Saturday. Police said surveillance video showed rounds striking the mosque on Plymouth Road on Detroit's Westside as two cars sped by, leading police to believe the bullets striking the mosque were incidental.   3. The City of Detroit kicked off Pride Month with a flag-raising in Spirit Plaza Wednesday morning in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. (WXYZ)
