Baby Girl Found Safe After She Was Abducted In Fatal Detroit Shooting

Police are still searching for the suspects who were inside a newer gray Dodge Durango, according to police.

DETROIT — A 1-year-old girl has been found safe after she was kidnapped Saturday night during a fatal shooting in Detroit, according to police.

Police said the girl was taken by four men who killed a man and fled the scene in the area of Compass Avenue and Littlefield Street at 10:09 p.m. Saturday.

The abduction prompted an Amber Alert early Sunday morning. The child was later found safe, but police did not share any additional details.

Police said the four men pulled up in a newer gray Dodge Durango and fatally shot a man who was with the 1-year-old child and a woman.

Police are still looking for the men and the Durango, which has a license plate number of EAD 187.
