Big Ten Championship: Michigan Vs. Wisconsin, Tip-Off Time TV Schedule

Both teams are safely in the NCAA Men's March Madness Tournament, which begins March 14 with play-in games.

The Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines meet Sunday in the Big Ten championship for a chance to automatically move into the NCAA March Madness Men’s Basketball Tournament. Regardless of which team wins the tilt, both teams are safely in the tournament.

Tip-off is at 3 p.m. Eastern Time at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The game will be broadcast live on CBS.

No. 2 seed Wisconsin beat No. 6 Northwestern, 76-48, and No. 8 seed Michigan topped fourth-seeded Minnesota, 84-77, for a chance at the title.

Wisconsin has been in six Big Ten Title games, winning three of them. Michigan won the Big Ten Tournament in 1988, but hasn’t brought home the crown since. The only other time the Wolverines made it to the Big Ten championship was in 2014, when they lost to in-state rival Michigan State University.

The 2017 Men’s NCAA March Madness Tournament brackets will be announced between 5:30-7:30 p.m. Eastern Time Sunday. The play-in games begin on Tuesday, March 14, and the tournament starts Thursday, March 16. The championship game will be held Monday, April 3.

Games will be broadcast by Turner Sports and CBS Sports, which have the televised rights for the NCAA Tournament. Here’s the schedule:
