Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan will illuminate the top of the 500/600 towers at the GM Renaissance Center in Warrior gold and green

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan has illuminated the top of the 500/600 towers at the GM Renaissance Center in Warrior gold and green beginning Wednesday, January 24, in celebration of Wayne State University’s 150th anniversary.
Blue Cross is proud to demonstrate its support and appreciation for Wayne State University and commemorate the sesquicentennial celebration. WSU has a long history related to health care in Detroit. The university’s beginnings trace back to 1868 when a group of determined physicians founded the Detroit Medical College to improve care and health education in the city. The college evolved to become the world-renowned School of Medicine, recognized for groundbreaking research and medical advancements.
For more than 30 years, Blue Cross has developed a proud tradition of spotlighting important causes and special events with light displays. Wayne State is rooted in a strong sense of social mission, like Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and dedicated to creating “a premier university in the heart of Detroit.”

The towers will be illuminated from Wednesday, Jan. 24th to Tuesday, Jan. 30th, and will take place at the GM Renaissance Center / Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Towers which is located 500/600 Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan.
