Spearheading the day-to-day operations of the business is Maisha Cook, a Black and female entrepreneur breaking industry norms in more ways than one. As one of only a few women franchisees at One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning and a Black business owner, Cook is using her new business venture to bring awareness to the possibilities available to both of these minority groups and share her experience to hopefully spark change and encourage others to follow their dreams despite ongoing challenges they may face.
