Help support Holly High School Athletics through Mazda’s Be Moved Drive Program, part of Mazda’s community engagement initiative that uplifts the communities it serves and celebrates those who are inspired to move others. 

The Be Moved Drive Program is a community test drive event that brings Mazda dealerships, schools and local communities together to raise funds for programs that help students thrive while reinforcing Mazda’s commitment to helping build safer drivers and stronger communities. 

For every qualified test drive taken in a Mazda vehicle during this special one-day event, Serra Mazda Brighton will donate $50 to Holly High School Athletics, up to $10,000. Funds will help support the school’s athletic department — including transportation, updated equipment, snacks and other needs that directly benefit student-athletes. 

The event also gives participants an opportunity to experience Mazda vehicles and the brand’s approach to safety and driver confidence. Mazda was named Consumer Reports’ Safest New-Car Brand for 2026, and all tested Mazda vehicles earned 2026 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards, more than any other brand as of July 2026. 

There is no cost to participate and everyone is welcome to attend. To complete a qualified test drive supporting the school donation, participants must be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. legal resident and have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Test drives are limited to one per qualified participant. Guests who do not drive are also encouraged to explore Mazda vehicles and learn more about the Be Moved Drive Program.

Stony Creek Metropark

Grace Centers of Hope, a leading nonprofit that provides comprehensive life skills programs to help men, women, and children address complex issues such as homelessness, addiction and abuse, will host its annual “Pave the Way” run event on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026. The event will take place at Stony Creek Metropark, located at 4300 Main Park Drive, Shelby Township, MI 48316.
Pave the Way brings Metro Detroit and surrounding communities together in support of the men, women, and children served by Grace Centers of Hope. Participants may choose to run or walk the Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K. Each offering a beautifully scenic course through Stony Creek Metropark. 
Race-day registration and packet pickup will begin at 7 a.m. The Half Marathon does not have same-day registration and will begin at 8:30 a.m. The 10K will follow at 8:45 a.m. and lastly, the 5K at 9 a.m. Each registration includes an official Pave the Way t-shirt and finisher medal.
Participants are also encouraged to become an “IMPACT Champion” by creating an individual or team fundraiser. Fundraisers are encouraged to share why they are participating, invite friends and family to support their run, and earn recognition and rewards as they reach fundraising milestones.

Help support Farmington High School Athletics through Mazda’s Be Moved Drive Program, part of Mazda’s community engagement initiative that uplifts the communities it serves and celebrates those who are inspired to move others. 

The Be Moved Drive Program is a community test drive event that brings Mazda dealerships, schools and local communities together to raise funds for programs that help students thrive while reinforcing Mazda’s commitment to helping build safer drivers and stronger communities. 

For every qualified test drive taken in a Mazda vehicle during this special one-day event, Mazda will donate $50 to Farmington High School Athletics, up to $10,000. Funds will help support the school’s student-athletes by providing jerseys, travel support, equipment and other athletic department needs. 

The event also gives participants an opportunity to experience Mazda vehicles and the brand’s approach to safety and driver confidence. Mazda was named Consumer Reports’ Safest New-Car Brand for 2026, and all tested Mazda vehicles earned 2026 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ awards, more than any other brand as of July 2026. 

There is no cost to participate and everyone is welcome to attend. To complete a qualified test drive supporting the school donation, participants must be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. legal resident and have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Test drives are limited to one per qualified participant. Guests who do not drive are also encouraged to explore Mazda vehicles and learn more about the Be Moved Drive Program.

Detroit, Michigan — Multiple Arts & Cultural Venues

Join the Torch of Wisdom Foundation for ArtEx 2026, a curated gallery crawl and cultural journey through Detroit built around the theme Rhythm → Voice → Story → Legacy.
Guests will travel together by Art Bus to Black-owned galleries and cultural spaces while experiencing visual art, live performance, storytelling, conversation, Black-owned wine tastings, and the journey of art collecting.
Featured participants include trumpeter Allen Dennard, Detroit’s Poet Laureate Jessica Care Moore, storyteller Rochelle Wilson-Ellis, and renowned gallerist George N’Namdi. The experience culminates at the N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art, where George N’Namdi will share his journey and legacy in a featured conversation.
Award-winning journalist Ed Gordon, an Emmy Award and NAACP Image Award recipient, will serve as ArtEx 2026 Honorary Chair.
