Chick-fil-A Opening New Metro Detroit Restaurant This Week

Chick-fil-A is best known for its chicken sandwiches, waffle fries and signature Chick-fil-A dipping sauce.

LINCOLN PARK, MI — Chick-fil-A is opening a new restaurant in metro Detroit this week.

The popular fast food chain is opening a new spot at 2060 Southfield Road in Lincoln Park on Thursday.

The new restaurant is locally owned and operated by Marcel Smith, who was born and raised in Detroit.

"Lincoln Park has always stood out to me for its close-knit spirit – this community is hardworking, family-centered with deep cultural pride and a strong sense of togetherness," Smith said. "Opening a restaurant so close to where I grew up is a full-circle moment for me. As the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Lincoln Park, my goal is for guests and team members to feel known and cared for, and for this restaurant to serve as a positive anchor for my family and the community."

The Lincoln Park spot will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
