Cold Start Followed By Warming Temps: Metro Detroit Weather

It will be a cold start to the week across the Detroit area before temperatures warm above freezing, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs Monday will only reach the low 20s, but temperatures will begin to warm overnight and eventually hit 40 degrees Tuesday, the weather service said.

Temperatures will hover around the 30s throughout the rest of the week, which forecasters expect to stay dry, the weather service said.

The next chance for rain and snow comes this weekend, the weather service said.
