  1. Detroit artist chosen for city's largest municipal art installation at Jeep plant. Hubert Massey will lead the creation of the largest municipal art installation in the city, expected to be 15 feet high and 1,500 feet long. (Detroit News)
  2. Bridge construction to close Interstate 94 next month in Downtown Detroit. The shutdown will last a whole week in July as crews will be building a new bridge on I-94 at Second Avenue in Downtown Detroit. (WDIV ClickOnDetroit)
  3. The gun reform package lawmakers passed in the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday included a provision from Michigan Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin that she first introduced after the deadly Oxford school shooting. (Michigan Patch)
