Motor City Brewing Works will permanently close its taproom at 19350 Livernois Ave. just north of Seven Mile Road on Sunday, Oct. 1, according to a Facebook post. The Livernois Avenue location opened in 2021.
"Staffing challenges and increased workloads for existing employees have prevented us from fully delivering the MCBW experience we were hoping to contribute to the Avenue of Fashion," the post said. "We sincerely thank everyone for their support and patronage since the inception of the project."
