Detroit Lions' Matthew Stafford, Wife Parents of Twins
Kelly Stafford posted a photo of the longtime couple on Instagram of their "first night out as a mom and dad."

DETROIT, MI — Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and his wife, Kelly, are the parents of twin daughters, born March 31 and announced Sunday in an Instagram post. Kelly Stafford had previously announced on the social media site that the couple planned to name their daughters Sawyer and Chandler.
“First night out as a mom and dad,” Kelly Stafford posted Sunday. “Our babies were born March 31st and are healthy and happy! Thanks for all the well wishes!”
The couple married in 2015. They met at the University of Georgia, where Matthew, now 29, was a quarterback and Kelly was a cheerleader. He was a first-round draft pick by the Detroit Lions in 2009, and just came off one of his most successful seasons yet.
