Detroit Lions Tailgate Party In Downtown Before Monday Night Game
Tickets to attend the event are not required, but the NFL bag policy will be in effect.
DETROIT — A massive tailgate party will be held in Downtown Detroit on Monday before the Lions primetime game in Ford Field against the Las Vegas Raiders.
More than 15,000 fans are expected to pack Grand Circus Park from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. The event, hosted by the Downtown Detroit Partnership, will have food trucks, beer tents and games. There will also be photo opportunities available next to block signs to celebrate the team and city.
Tickets to attend the event are not required, but the NFL bag policy will be in effect.

You can watch the Lions vs. Raiders on Monday Night Football on Channel 7. Pregame coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. before kickoff at 8:15 p.m. The Lions are also expected to wear their new blue helmets, which feature their classic logo dating back to the 50s.
The Detroit Lions are coming off a disappointing 38-6 Sunday loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. Despite the blowout, the Lions are still tied for the second-best record in the National Football League.
