Detroit Officer Charged After Threatening To 'Execute' Woman: Cops
Prosecutors said it is the second time the officer has been charged with domestic violence.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 47-year-old Detroit Police officer is facing a domestic violence charge after threatening to "execute" a woman in Harrison Township, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office.
Louis Allen Wilson, of Harrison Township, was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence/second offense, which is punishable by up to a year in jail. He was placed in jail with a bond set at $5,000.
His next court date is scheduled for Nov. 25.

Prosecutors said Wilson went to his home in Harrison Township on Oct. 22 and told the woman that he was going to "execute" her.
The woman fled to a neighbor's house and called police, according to prosecutors.

"It is my responsibility to ensure that justice is served, regardless of a person's profession or position. The charge of domestic violence, especially as a second offense, is a serious matter, and no one is above the law. We are committed to a fair and thorough process to protect the rights of the victim and uphold the integrity of our legal system," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said in a statement.
