Detroit People Mover, QLine Extends Hours For Lions Monday Night Game

DETROIT — The People Mover and QLine in Downtown Detroit will have extended hours Monday night for the Lions football game.

The People Mover and QLine will be open until 1 a.m. to accommodate any late time fares after the Detroit Lions Monday Night Football game.

In addition, fares can attend a free event at Broadway, the station closest to Ford Field. The "Touchdown Tailgate" will have free activities including a themed photo booth, snacks and face decals from 4 to 7 p.m.

Riders who board or exit at Broadway can also enter one of three raffles for Lions merchandise. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

You can watch the Lions vs. Raiders on Monday Night Football on Channel 7. Pregame coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. before kickoff at 8:15 p.m. The Lions are also expected to wear their new blue helmets, which feature their classic logo dating back to the 50s.

The Detroit Lions are coming off a disappointing 38-6 Sunday loss in Baltimore against the Ravens. Despite the blowout, the Lions are still tied for the second-best record in the National Football League.
