Detroit Police, DEA Sponsor Drug Take-Back Day

Free anonymous service helps get expired drugs out of homes.

DETROIT, MI — The Detroit Police Department and Drug Enforcement Administration will host a take-back day for pills and patches Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in conjunction with the National Take-Back Initiative.

Medications can be taken to either:

St. John's Connor's Creek, 4777 E. Outer Drive

The DEA is unable to accept liquids, needles or sharps. The service is both free and anonymous.
